Paulina´s Friends Fashion
- Paulina Tsvetanova
Paulina Tsvetanova is a visionary force in contemporary fashion, blurring the lines between couture, art, and philosophy through her Berlin-based label, PAULINA’S FRIENDS. Her collections, which are regularly showcased on the world’s most prestigious stages—from New York and Milan to Paris Fashion Week—are characterized by an eclectic aesthetic that seamlessly merges historical references with modern extravagance.
At the heart of her creative work lies the concept of the "Wunderkammer" (Cabinet of Curiosities). Tsvetanova curates fashion as an experience of timeless elegance and artistic depth, prioritizing uniqueness over mass-market trends. Her design ethos is deeply rooted in female empowerment; through her "Role Models Concept," she creates pieces intended to strengthen a woman's visibility and self-expression. Drawing on her background as an art historian and design scholar, she infuses her creative process with academic depth, ensuring her designs transcend fleeting trends. By positioning herself as a "master of transformation," Tsvetanova utilizes fashion as a tool to challenge societal norms and promote a new form of aesthetic self-determination.

- Nikola Baumgartner
Nikola Baumgartner is a distinguished master of bespoke tailoring and haute couture, recognized for her meticulous precision and artistic flair. Based in St. Georgen am Ybbsfelde, Lower Austria, she operates her own atelier, Nikola Baumgartner Maßmode, where she transforms high-quality textiles into individualized sartorial narratives. Her design philosophy is deeply rooted in the marriage of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary elegance, focusing on "Maßmode" (made-to-measure fashion) that honors the unique silhouette of every client. For Baumgartner, fashion is a visual dialogue - an expression of personal identity achieved through layered tulle, floating cuts, and an unwavering attention to detail.
Her journey to becoming a prominent figure in the Austrian fashion scene is marked by consistent excellence at the Haute Couture Austria Awards, where she has been a regular finalist since 2020. A significant milestone in her career occurred in September 2025, when she celebrated her international debut at Paris Fashion Week. Presenting her work on such a prestigious global stage solidified her reputation as a designer capable of bridging regional artisanal heritage with international high-fashion standards. Through her creations, Baumgartner continues to challenge the transience of modern trends, advocating for a return to sustainable, handcrafted luxury that empowers the wearer through perfect form and sophisticated design.
christA franZ
- Christa Franz
The creations of the christA franZ label are elegant, cheeky, sexy, ageless and captivate with that certain something. Evening dresses, wedding dresses and daywear are created in the designer's studio, all of which are her own designs and made with fine handcraft. On the second track, she designs couture dresses for the grand entrance. Her models are characterized by attention to detail, the selection of high-quality fabrics - preferably fibers made from wood - and the perfect craftsmanship. "My dresses focus on the individual personality of the wearer," says the designer, for whom sustainability is a must.
The current collection reflects the versatility of the label. The simple line underlines the unmistakable style, while being young and innovative at the same time. Traditional craft techniques are implemented in a modern way and thus interpret the "now". The wearers should feel expressive and self-confident in the models, which reflect the fashion designer's attention to detail with every (natural) fiber. The christA franZ studio is located in southern Styria, the best source of inspiration you can imagine. The designer has gained work experience in Paris, Lyon, Düsseldorf, Vienna and Graz, and her creations have been presented on the catwalks of Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, Maastricht and Bolzano.
National and international customers have long found their way to the studio in the middle of Austrian nature. - Winner of the GOLDEN AWARD – Sustainable Fashion Craft of the European Textile & Craft Award, Bolzano.
Masschneiderei Rosengarten
- Doris Berger
Doris Berger is the founder of the Rosengarten tailor shop in Guntramsdorf, south of Vienna.
Since the opening in 2014, her love and enthusiasm has been for the production of elaborate garments in classical and historically inspired styles (e.g. steampunk, Victorian, medieval, etc.), which she lovingly creates in the studio she moved into in 2021.
The participation at FWA Fashion Week Berlin is the third big international appearance of the designer. Anyone who looks at the quality of her work already suspects - it will not be the last major international appearance.
Lena Buhl Schneidermeisterin
- Lena Buhl
Lena Buhl is a rising visionary in the world of high-end tailoring and design, seamlessly bridging the gap between centuries-old Austrian tradition and modern, cosmopolitan flair. Based in the Pinzgau region near Salzburg, she operates her own atelier where she champion’s a "craft-first" philosophy, treating every garment as a bespoke masterpiece rather than a mass-market product. Her design ethos is centered on the principle that "clothing must fit the individual, not the other way around," emphasizing a deeply personal and sustainable approach to fashion that rejects the fast-fashion cycle in favor of lasting value.
Buhl’s rise to international prominence was marked by her spectacular debut at Paris Fashion Week in September 2025, where she represented Salzburg by presenting a collection that reinterpreted traditional "Tracht" elements for the global stage. Her technical excellence is further evidenced by her success at the Haute Couture Austria Awards, where she secured a second-place finish in early 2025 among the country’s top couturiers. By blending delicate artisanal details with bold, contemporary silhouettes, Lena Buhl has established herself as a key figure in the "New Alpine" aesthetic, utilizing her platform to showcase how regional heritage can be transformed into a powerful language of modern identity and self-determination.

- Arin Mustafa

Based in Vienna, she is the founder of the label Nexus of Elegance, a brand that embodies the sophisticated convergence of high-end fashion and refined aesthetics. Her design philosophy is characterized by a "total look" approach, where her extensive background as an elite make-up artist and stylist informs her sartorial creations, ensuring a seamless harmony between the garment and the wearer’s individual persona. For Mustafa, elegance is not a static state but a dynamic "nexus"—a connection point where fabric, form, and personal storytelling meet.
Her influence in the fashion industry extends beyond the atelier, as she has become a sought-after collaborator for high-profile productions and international magazine covers, including features in Fashionable Magazine. By working alongside global fashion week designers and top-tier modeling agencies, Mustafa has honed an eye for international standards while maintaining a boutique, artisanal touch. Die Schneiderin Gastein
- Kathrin Schlager
Couture from the Gastein Valley: Kathrin Schlager is an Austrian designer and couturière who creates a contemporary form of cultural couture in Bad Hofgastein in the Salzburger Land region. Her atelier is a place of fine craftsmanship and conceptual depth.
Every creation designed by her is available for order upon request. This deliberately selective approach focuses on value, individuality, and cultural significance.
In February, Schlager will present her latest creations as part of Berlin Fashion Week.
In clear silhouettes and deliberately layered materials, she translates cultural codes into modern couture that makes the tension between origin and future visible. "I work with clothing as a temporal body – between memory and structure, proximity and distance, past and present," the designer describes her creative approach.
Particularly noteworthy is a dress that emerged in the context of the collection and fit harmoniously into this year's competition theme of the Haute Couture Austria Award in Vienna. The hem of the dress features the skyline of Salzburg, the striking buildings – the town hall, the Hohensalzburg Fortress, St. Peter's Abbey, and the DomQuartier – not as a mere illustration, but as the finest hand embroidery directly anchored in the fabric. This artistic detail work connects the clear aesthetics of the present with the magic of Salzburg's history and turns the dress itself into a dynamic stage of cultural identity.
Schlager's signature has long been visible beyond the Gastein Valley: Five successful participations in the Haute Couture competition, custom-made creations for prominent personalities such as Nadine Mirada, Kerstin Lechner, Giulia & Claudi Bonetti, Heather Mills, and Milva Spina artistically designed.
Her couture also found a stage at the Vienna Opera Ball: A customer appeared there in an exclusive, individually crafted gown. As well as a much-noticed modern interpretation of regional aesthetics at the Dirndl competition of the state of Salzburg, which earned her a full page in the Woman Spezial with influencer Constantly K. As an honorary guest of the 40th Bauernherbst (Farmer's Autumn festival) in Dorfgastein, the region recognized her craftsmanship and identity.
In addition to her artistic work, Kathrin Schlager repeatedly implements social initiatives in collaboration with others. In Gastein, she transformed a hotel into a temporary boutique for a day: A place of togetherness was created from donated clothing, accompanied by music, drinks, and an open atmosphere. For a small entry fee, visitors could choose any pieces they liked – a concept that connects sustainability, fashion, and community in a new way.
In April, Schlager will make another statement:
At the "Nacht der Frau" (Night of the Woman), organized by DJ Solaris, she will present her collection again. The event is aimed at strong women. In this environment, Schlager shows how couture is not just clothing, but makes attitude and personal strength visible.
